Thursday - very wet and cold

The rain has come with a vengeance. Warren is all wrapped up to finish off the work in the garden
First thing this morning I went to see Sean to go over the paper work for Building notice. He told me to leave it with him and he will fill it in and send the necessary drawings to Building control.

I contacted the Council and paid £707.50

I then got several calls regarding my Gumtree advert
Stuart is interested in the larger fireplace 07887881999 £75

Terry is interested in the smaller one 07964982724        £75 not heard from him yet
Andy is interested in the garden gate: 07894280724      £55
Sara contacted me regarding the shed, but have not received any money yet.  £175

day 3 of demolition - flattening the garden

This is a picture of the garden as was at the beginning of the project.
The hedge on the right will be taken out and both gardens will be joined together.

Today the concrete path was taken out which created a lot of rubble
Anna hired a van to pick up the bath at around 9.45am
at 11am Mark Beer came to pick up the shed that Warren had taken apart the yesterday and laid flat on the lawn of 76. Mark was supposed to have come on Saturday but this saved us time and space.
Claire came to pick up the last of the bamboo plants

Today Warren met the building inspector Jenny Dye   01223 457116
who had told him that we had not handed in the Building notice yet. She sent me the forms to fill in and tomorrow I have to pay the council the fees due.

As I was not sure exactly what to fill and what paperwork needed to be so printed it off will give it to Sean Fallon tomorrow morning to fill in.

Later in the evening Helena  came to pickup the gravel
