Whilst speaking with Sean, we talked about the finishing of the stonework on the bay.
The stone mason (from Enfield) came to measure up and was happy to provide us a more ornamental finish than we suggested.
We had another look at the one we saw on Chesterton Road and prefer this.
There may be an issue with the finishing of the roof (inside the bay) Sean will be looking into this.

Front of house
For the front of the house we have chosen
Mystique bricks (the same as used in the student accommodation on Mitcham's corner)
We will build the front wall with these as well as the back extension.
The path will be Victorian Quarry Tiles Red and Black in a chequered pattern
from Wallsandfloors they are 25p each.
finished off with
Brindle Rope Edging - 580 x 150mm 002783 by home base £6.29 each

We will be building the bay window.similar to this one below.
The gas box will be on the bottom side of the bay wall. I have called the national grid and they will come and check things out on Wednesday 13th January. Ref 31952941 MPRN 3082687801

Not sure if I want to put gravel down again and a raised bed in the middle or use artificial grass that may be left over from the back garden. we need to wait and see.
