I thought it would be nice to bury a Time capsule so I asked Graham the dry liner to hide it in the ceiling of the front room: This is what it said:
On Monday 4th January 2016, builders Fallon and Co started the ‘demolition' of this house.
Over the next months Warren, Kenny and Richard were working hard to build it back up.
Warren was in charge and is an amazing brick layer, Kenny and Richard made sure that bricks were ready and cement was made up on demand.
Kenny then put in the fence at the back of the garden.
Sean Fallon, came regularly to keen a watching eye over the built.
The weather has been good up until the roof was put on by Clint the joiner and Colin the roofer.
Clint stayed on for the following weeks to do all the joinery in our home.
In the later stages, Anthony and Ryan (the electricians), Pidgeon the plumber and Ian the Central Heating engineer came to put the house back in working order.
Today 14th May, the plasterboard will go up so won’t be able to tell what will happen next but, I have been told that Pidgeon will come back to do all the flooring, that Richard will be doing all the painting and decorating.
We would like to thank all of those who were involved in building our new home with such care, joy and love. Signed by myself Karina and Mark Wells
The letter was also signed by all the men on site at that time: Warren, Richard, Kenny, Anthony, Clint and Kenny and put in a Costa Coffee take away cup to be hidden today.
