Warren the foreman and owner Sean Fallon where there with Sean's nephew Richard and another helper (forgot his name) to prepare for the day.
Plan: to level the front gardens of 78 and 76 Victoria Road.
It transpired that the wall between 76 and 74 belongs to Peter Sewell. Mark wrote him a letter to see if he would like us to pay for a new wall and replace it with the same bricks as we will be using for the rest of the wall.
Dear Mark, Karina,

Dear Peter,
Just to let you know, we did a site visit with the builder, Sean Fallon, today. Warren is his site manager so if you have any issues and we are not around, please speak with him. He’s very friendly and sensible.
Work will focus on the front gardens of 78 and 76 this week and hope to have the new wall finished soon.We pointed out the front boundary wall between 76 and 74 and made it clear that this is yours, which they understand.
Sean pointed out that they have enough of the Cambridge yellow bricks to replace the front boundary wall between 76 and 74 if you would like. We are happy to pay for that work because we have bought the bricks anyway. This would have the benefit of make the garden walls consistent with the brickwork of the houses, but it is your choice
Let us know what you would like to do and we will instruct the builders accordingly.
Kind regards,
Mark and Karina Wells
Warren also suggested to approach Peter to see if he would like them to do the garden fence between 74 and 76 VR.
I came back later on in the afternoon and the builders had kindly taken down the shed for me and put it in the garage for me to put on Gumtree
They also took out the bath carefully to give it to Anna McIvor (50 cams)

They tackled the garden shrubbery, which was immediately taken away by pick up truck.
They dug up a bamboo and some other bushes for Mike mikeandnada@googlemail.com who wanted it for their daughter.
They came later that evening to pick up the plants
Lorna from Streetlife in Girton 01223 720008 came to pick up the carpet in the study. As the other carpets were too big for her to take, she left them and we decided to dispose of them after all.
